The ministry for senior adults at Grace Community Church is committed to ensuring that the latter years of life can be the greatest years for Christ. Retirement provides more time for personal Bible study, prayer, fellowship with other believers and serving with our gifts. Beyond Sundays, expressions of love and caring, cards, transportation, and home and hospital visitations radiate outward during the week.
The Bereans Fellowship meets on Sunday mornings in room 112 from 9:00-10:00am. There is hymn singing, prayer and praise, and the study of God's word. In those months having five Sundays, the "Fifth Sunday" is a special time of fellowship with delicious treats from home. This time also provides an opportunity for personal testimonies or visiting missionaries to share the successes and challenges of God’s work.
The last Sunday of each month features a community hymn sing in the church auditorium from 7:00-8:00 p.m. It's a special time for singing the wonderful hymns that honor and praise God’s glory, love, and faithfulness.
